Ed Goes to Crimea

The Black Sea At Sun

Set

Ed is in Crimea and living with us in our two room flat.  He spends part of each day overseeing the activity in our courtyard.  He practices his language skills with the Babushka that lives upstairs and he converses with the many dogs and cats that grace our yard.  Ed is trying to instill in them a sense of service by getting them to keep the courtyard clean.  He has his good days and his bad days and many frustrating days in-between.  So many days he wants to just pack it up and head for his old home but he has committed to this life and is determined to work out all of the problems.

Afternoons and evenings Ed takes us for walks along the Black Sea looking for chances to help others.  That has lead to many an interesting adventure which he is busily dictating to his new found Russian friends.  Just like back home Ed has a following of young girls willing to work with him and help him write his stories.  He currently has ten stories under construction but his helpers are having trouble with his language skills so they keep coming back for further instruction.  I am under the impression that they understand him quite well but that they are using problems as an excuse to spend alone time with our erstwhile knight.
